Prophet Samuel Kakande is Leader of The Temple Mount Church of all Nations Uganda. This church is based in Kubiri Mulago in Kampala and was founded in 1978 as the Synagogue Church of all Nations by Reverend Prophet John Obiri Yeboah. Prophet Samuel Kakande took over leadership of the Synagogue Church of all Nations in Uganda from Prophet John Obiri Yeboah in the early 2000s and has taken the church to where it is today. The old church was demolished and a new grand building was opened in 2024 with a sitting capacity of over 25,000.

Pastor Samuel Kakande considers Prophet John Obiri Yeboah and Prophet TB Joshua to be his Spiritual Fathers. Prophet John Obiri Yeboah came to Uganda in 1972 and is considered by many to be the founder of the Redeemed churches of Uganda. He groomed and mentored many of the influential Pastors in Uganda today.

Prophet Samuel Kakande first encountered Prophet TB Joshua in the early 2000’s. The Synagogue church of all Nations in Nigeria was still in its infancy and not as well-known as it is today. Recognizing the unique anointing among themselves, the two where close. Prophet Samuel Kakande received support and spiritual mentoring from TB Joshua. In return Prophet Samuel Kakande and his Ministry contributed significantly to the building of the current church in Nigeria at a time when many didn’t know about it. TB Joshua gave Pastor Kakande a letter giving him Authority to represent the Synagogue Church in Eastern Africa.

Biography of Pastor Kakande

Paster Samuel Kakande is a Muganda by tribe and was born on 5th May 1969. He received his early education in Uganda before relocating to Tanzania as a Carpenter. Though not as educated as some of his peers, God’s calling was always with him. An encounter with Prophet John Obiri Yeboah made a great impact on him. The Prophet John developed a liking for him and later groomed him as successor.

Pastor Kakande is unique because of his anointing to impart blessings to everyone who encounters him. That is why he has many followers. They believe in his anointing because they see the results during prayer sessions and countless testimonies around the world. His followers support his church with dedication because they know God is with him. They also know that they will see changes in the families, businesses and health. Pastor Kakande’s followers do not see him as a perfect human but are drawn to him because of the special anointing he carries.

With a massive following and donations from around the world, Prophet Samuel Kakande is a wealthy man. He has personal investments in commercial farming, other enterprises and a modern home. This should be expected for someone with a great anointing and following. His model farms and other enterprises employ many Ugandans. President Museveni of Uganda has often praised Prophet Kakande for Investing in Agriculture and guiding his followers to be self-reliant by opening similar projects. Unfortunately, success often brings resentment from peers. There is a tendency to persecute or misunderstand those who are different or have what we don’t have. Some Pastors resent him for the extraordinary anointing, mass following and wealth despite having a simple background. Pastor Kakande is a perfect example to show that God doesn’t necessarily choose the best among us to do his work.

Prophet Samuel Kakande has mentored many Pastors in Uganda and beyond including Brother Ronnie Makabai of ETM Church International. He is married to his wife Citia who is a Filipino businesswoman. We will now discuss more about the general Kakande Ministries.

The Kakande Ministries

The Kakande Ministries spreads the Gospel of Christ by offering prayers of deliverances and healings. Pastor Kakande uses simple preaching with great effect. He doesn’t elaborate much or appear pompous while speaking with his audience. His sermons are always clear and impactful. He uses prophecy to make people understand Gods working in detail. When preaching, Prophet Samuel Kakande emphasizes spiritual deliverance, faith and healing.

The Kakande Ministries is popular because of the sheer volume of miracles and healings taking place. This has allowed Pastor Kakande to draw large crowds. The church organizes periodic campaigns and special prayer sessions for international visitors. During these spiritual events, Christians are requested to share testimonies which clearly show transformation. The sick who visit the Church for healing must show proof of their ailment from certified medical facilities. This helps the church clearly demonstrate/prove Gods healing power.

The church not only focuses on miracles and healings but also blessings that come as part of the package. According to Pastor Kakande, true Christians must be delivered and with that comes God’s blessings in all aspects of life. In return, Christians must support Gods work through making offerings and paying tithe. The best way to show ones love for God is through supporting Gods work (Offering and Tithe). Everyone prays but those who support God’s work actively stand out in his eyes. Christians who are truly delivered, pray and support Gods projects can expect to see extra-ordinary blessings (favor and protection) in their marriage, finances, career and business.

It is impossible for a Christian to receive Gods full blessings without spiritual deliverance. True Christianity must focus on both the physical and spiritual aspects. Christians must not only read the bible but have a strong realization that God is a spiritual being. Everything begins in the spiritual realm before manifesting in the physical.

Prophet Samuel Kakande also uses prophecy to explain the root cause of many of life’s challenges. His prophecies also reveal exactly how God works and helps Christians understand what to do in order to have a successful walk with Christ. Finally, Pastor Samuel Kakande also offers Visitors to his church spiritual items like holy water and anointing oil among others. Many have testified to the mighty miracles and deliverances after using these blessed items on reaching home.

Philanthropy

Prophet Samuel Kakande is a generous man. A large following means he receives a lot of financial support which has helped him channel much of it to the poor. He is involved in many charitable activities in Uganda and beyond. During the COVID-19 lockdown, the Kakande Ministries supplied flour and other necessities to communities affected. But that is just a drop in the ocean compared to what his followers witness in the church everyday. Pastor Kakande generously gives the poor and needy money to solve their immediate and long-term challenges. His ministry has built schools while also supporting orphans and other needy people.

How to See Prophet Kakande

Many Christians dream of visiting the Synagogue Church of all Nations in Uganda for an opportunity to meet Prophet Samuel Kakande. They go to the church with various kinds of ailments and spiritual bondages. Those planning to visit Prophet Samuel Kakande and his ministry should know that Prophet Samuel Kakande offers counselling sessions to International visitors on Saturdays. It is also possible to see him on Wednesday but under special arrangement. Thursday is set aside for general healing and deliverance prayers which start from as early as 6am to 10pm in the night.

Those planning to visit should plan in advance and write to the church using the contactus@kakandeminstries.org. Many Christians arrange transport as a group and travel to Uganda in convoys. Find out if you have Representatives from the Kakande Ministries in your homeland and if group visits are arranged. We highly recommend setting aside atleast a week to be in Uganda. This is to ensure that you have the opportunity to take part in the deliverance prayers and also have a personal meeting with the Prophet. If you have any ailments, don’t forget to have medical proof. Over 1,000 people visit Pastor Kakande’s Church every day. Visitors should expect to meet many other faithful waiting to meet the prophet in his office or for the general deliverance prayers.
