Full Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up from Nairobi hotel and travel to Lake Nakuru – Afternoon Game drive
Early in the morning, your Safari driver will be present at the hotel facility to pick you up. The Driver will give briefing which outlines the day’s plan. You will then begin your journey towards Lake Nakuru National Park. The drive lasts approximately 3-4 hours and will provide opportunities to observe Kenya’s scenic landscapes.
On arrival at the Nakuru National Park, expect to check into the lodge for relaxation and lunch. You will then depart from the safari camp to enjoy a memorable afternoon game drive through the vibrant Lake Nakuru National Park.

Day 2: Morning Game drive in Lake Nakuru – Transfer to Masai Mara Reserve
Start the vibrant day with a hefty breakfast and then wait for your Guide/Driver. Expect to embark on the second game drive session to explore more of the Lake Nakuru National Park’s diverse wildlife species. Nakuru National Park’s wildlife includes buffaloes, lions, leopards, black and white rhinos. After the sunrise game drive, depart from Lake Nakuru and connect to the Maasai Mara Reserve.

Day 3: Full-day Wildlife Extravaganza in Masai Mara
The full day guided game viewing experience in the Masai Mara will begin early in the morning. Your Guide/Driver will be present to take you on a long game drive. The game viewing will include a picnic lunch. Today’s sightings will include the big 5, hyenas, predators, wildebeests and several bird species. Both the morning and afternoon game drive will provide unique insights and experience. After the late afternoon game drive, your evening will be spent resting at the safari camp or lodge.

Day 4: Morning Game drive – Visit the Masai tribes, Transfer to Nairobi and later to Entebbe
Have a delicious breakfast and then go for the final game drive. This game drive is designed to offer you a chance to visit areas not covered in previous days. After this morning sunrise game drive, you will begin the Transfer to Nairobi and then take a flight to Entebbe through Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. A new Guide/Driver will pick you up from Entebbe International Airport and take you to the hotel for rest.

Day 5: Murchison Falls National Park tour with Rhino tracking and evening Game drive
Depart from Entebbe for Murchison Falls National Park in the Northwestern Uganda. Along the way, you will branch off to the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to observe Uganda’s remaining white Rhinos. After the
rhino trek, leave Ziwa for Murchison Falls National Park, driving through the Kichumbanyobo gate. You will Check in at your safari lodge early and relax.
After relaxation and lunch, you will set off for the evening game drive through the Northern section. Murchison Falls National Park is most popular for wildlife including lions, elephants, buffalo, leopards, antelopes, and birds. It is the largest national park in Uganda with beautiful scenery. Budongo forest is adjacent to the park and is home to chimpanzees.

Day 6: Morning Game drive – Launch cruise and Visiting the top of the falls
Wake up early and embark on the early morning game drive with our Guide/Driver. You will get a
chance to observe antelopes, warthogs, buffaloes, elephants, and lions. After the game drive, you will get back to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, you will be taken for a launch/boat cruise along the Victoria Nile River. Expect to witness an amazing collection of wildlife along the shores and inside the river. Look out for crocodiles, hippos and water antelopes. Birders should expect a treat while moving along the shores of the river Nile. There will be a chance to hike to the top of the falls, starting from the bottom.

Day 7: Transfer to Kibale National Park with Visit to Fort Portal Town
Wake up at your convenience and start the journey to Kibale National Park. This will be a long journey taking you through several towns. Although the journey is long, you will be amazed by the beautiful countryside. Expect to drive past rivers, lakes, community markets, farms and people working on their gardens. You will stop in Fort Portal city for lunch and then visit the Kings palace. Fort Portal is referred to as Uganda’s Tourism City and is one of the most naturally beautiful areas of Uganda. From Fort Portal town, you will continue up to the lodge/hotel.

Day 8: Chimpanzee Tracking – Visit the Bigodi eco-swamp
In the morning, you will gather at the Kanyanchu tourism center to receive guidance from the Park Ranger/Guides in Kibale National Park. The briefing about chimpanzee trekking will be conducted from 6.30 to 7:00am. The Ranger Guides will assign 6 people to a particular community of chimpanzees. Tracking the chimps takes between 1 and 4 hours depending on their location that day. Expect to spend a maximum of one hour watching them up close. Look out for other 11 species of primates. You will return from the activity to enjoy lunch at the lodge. In the afternoon, you will have a tour of the Bigodi Eco-tourism site. This is one of the best places to see birds in Uganda. Apart from birds, you will encounter about 11 species of primates.

Day 9: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park – Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise
Wake up at your own convenience, take breakfast and wait for the driver to being the transfer from Kibale to Queen Elizabeth National Park via Kasese. You will have brief stops including one to take photographs at the Kikorongo Equator monument. You will connect from Kikorongo to the park to catch up with the afternoon boat tour along the Kazinga channel. This boat cruise exposes tourists to a great collection of wildlife including crocodiles, antelopes and birds. Almost all the park animals gather along the channel to drink or hunt.

Day 10: Lion/Leopard Tracking – Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for relaxing and canoeing
This will be the day of lion/leopard tracking along the Kasenyi plain. It’s led by Researchers who use special equipment to track the canines. Unlike normal game drives, the vehicles used do not follow established roads. You would be visiting areas of the park not explored by other tourists. Lion/Leopard tracking focuses on the exploration of the two big cats in the Kasenyi plains, but other mammals will also be encountered. After tracking the big cats, you will leave Kasenyi for Lake Bunyonyi were you will enjoy a sunset canoe ride/boat tour.

Day 11: Complete Activities at Lake Bunyonyi – Transfer to Bwindi
Wake up at your own time and take breakfast as you wait for the Guide to take you for a sunrise canoe ride to one of the lush tropical islands. Lake Bunyonyi is one of the top tourism sites in Uganda. The Wakanda Movie was filmed at the here because of the amazing scenery. After spending time at Lake Bunyonyi, the driver would start the journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Day 12: Gorilla Trekking – Visit Batwa Pygmy tribe
About 19 habituated gorilla groups are available for observation during gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Only 8 people can visit one gorilla family in a day. The gorilla trek begins
after a briefing at the park offices and you will be allocated to a gorilla family before setting foot in the Forest. The allocation of gorilla groups depends on one’s level of fitness. Some families live far away from the park offices. Expect tom Spend between 2 to 5 hours trekking. The actual observation of the gorillas is for one hour after which you will be taken back to the park offices to receive your certificate of completion. Lunch will be at the lodge as you prepare to visit the Batwa community later in the afternoon. The Batwa pygmies were the original inhabitants of Bwindi, Mgahinga and Virunga National Park. The government evicted them from Bwindi to create room for the gorillas. Life has never been the same for them since they left the forest.

Day 13: Day 13: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda – Visit the Iby’iwacu cultural village
Wake up at your own time after yesterday’s gorilla trekking and wait for the driver to start the journey to Rwanda’s Volcanoes National through the Katuna or Cyanika border crossing. You should arrive early at the lodge, have lunch and rest. A visit to the Iby’iwacu cultural village will be arranged in the afternoon. Also known as the Gorilla Guardians village, this center is famous for cultural performances by former poachers. This tour is meant to expose you to Rwanda’s culture and traditions.

Day 14: Golden monkey tracking – Visit the Ellen Degeneres Campus of the Dian Fossey Foundation
Wake up early, shower and take breakfast. The Driver/Guide will take you for briefing at the park headquarters in Kinigi. The briefing at the park headquarters covers golden monkey trekking rules and is
conducted by Senior Park Rangers. At around 8:00 am, you will leave Kinigi and start tracking a troop of golden monkeys. These colorful monkeys spend most of their time playing, grooming and feeding on tender bamboo shoots. They are afraid of eagles and are considered endangered. The whole activity is expected to take between 2 and 4 ours. After observing them for one hour, you will be taken for lunch and return back to the lodge for lunch. Late in the afternoon, you will be taken to visit the Ellen Dian Fossey Campus for an exclusive tour. This modern Campus was established to help with carrying out research on mountain gorillas. Expect to learn a lot about the primates and what is being done to protect them.

Day 15: Transfer to Kigali for a city tour – Drive to the airport for departure flight
Have breakfast at leisure and wait for the Driver/Guide to start the journey to Kigali. This journey takes 3 hours. On reaching there, you will visit the Kigali genocide memorial site, an artisan shop/center and
the main city market. The genocide memorial center provides deep insights into the famous Rwandan genocide which occurred in 1994. About 1 million people lost their lives in 40 days when the government at the time conspired with trained killers to eliminate the Tutsi population around the company. The main message at the Center is that such a thing should never be allowed to ever happen again. After the Kigali city tour, continue to the airport for departure.
